AMERICAN MEDICAL SECURITY
With the secure online Customer Center, you can view claims information and access links to many convenient services. To register for the first time, have your medical or dental ID card available and fill out the “My Information” area, including your group number and customer ID, and then complete “My Profile Information”. You will be required to select a username and a password. If you need assistance with registering, simply click the “Help” link on the page or call (800) 232-5432, ext. 15208.
After registration, you will be able to:
- View claims information in a secure online environment.
- Find answers online or e-mail your questions to customer service 24 hours a day.
- Access another site and order prescriptions, view formularies/preferred drug lists, or get information.
- Request new or additional ID cards for you or your family.
- Use the AMS Health Discovery Center* to research medical information and learn more about local health-care facilities.
If your plan design uses a preferred provider network, the online Doctor and Provider Lookup will help you find physicians and health-care facilities in the network. This tool can be access from the American Medical Security home page. You will be able to search by:
- Provider name.
- Network name.
- Medical specialty.
- Type of medical facility.
- Distance from your ZIP code.
